Dysmenorrhea is the medical team for painful periods which are caused by uterine contractions. primary dysmenorrhea refers to recurrent pain , while secondary dysmenorrhea result from reproductive system disorders both can be treated.
PRIMARY CAUSES OF DYSMENORRHEA & PATHOGENSIS
Menstrual crams happen when a chemical called prostaglandin makes the uterus contract the uterus , the muscular organs where the body grows contract throughout menstrual cycle. During menstruation the uterus contract more strongly if the uterus contract too strongly it can press against near by blood vessels , cutting of the supply of oxygen to the muscle tissue which causes pain due to loss of oxygen supply

SECONDARY CAUSES ENDOMETRIOSIS :-
• Swelling , scarring and pain caused by endometrium when the tissue living uterus is formed outside of the uterus as these endomotrial living blood during during period.
• ADENOMYOSIS :- Living of uterus grows into the muscle of the uterus and causes abnormal bleeding and pain.
